Finding the Christ Light: In Ourselves, Others and Creation

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep darkness – on them light has shined…For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9)

As we journey together throughout the Advent season at Milford First, we’re reflecting upon the following questions:

2. How do you take the Christ Light with you into the world?
3. In what ways have you personally experienced the Christ Light at Milford First?

Through weekly video reflections, Milford First members share how they’ve experienced the Christ Light and what they do to shine that light within our church and community.

Week 1: Steve Reis
Steve Reis, Milford First member and operations manager for Milford Miami Ministry, shares how the Christ Light is revealed through his work serving our neighbors in need.

George Drewyor, Milford First’s organist and a music teacher Cardinal Pacelli School in Cincinnati, shares how he sees the Christ Light shining brightly through music everyday.

Lora Thompson, a U.S. Army veteran, shares how the Christ Light came to her and how she continues to share the Christ Light with others.
