Last week, in From Dust to Divinity, we marveled at the beauty and intentionality of God's first Act in the redemptive story he continues writing—how humanity was lovingly shaped from the dust and called "very good," made to walk in harmony with God, one another, and all creation. But as we turn the page to Act 2: The Fall, we begin to see cracks in that perfect design. What began in trust and communion begins to unravel through doubt and disobedience. In Genesis 3, the story shifts from blessing to brokenness, revealing how the very ones formed in God's image chose to reach beyond the boundaries of trust—and in doing so, introduced a sickness into the vine of creation. This week, we explore how that choice fractured relationships and planted seeds of shame, fear, and blame—and how God, even in judgment, begins the long work of redemption.
Sermon Title: From Dust to Divinity (Act 2: Fall)
Guiding Scripture: Genesis 3:1-13 (CEB)
