Visiting Us for the First Time?
The tips below will set you up for a successful experience at Milford First!
-
Worship whatever way resonates with you. Do you prefer modern praise songs led by a live band? If so, then the 9 a.m. gathering will probably be a good fit. If you appreciate tradition, Christian liturgy and hymns led by a choir, then the 10:30 a.m. gathering might be more your speed.
Both gatherings typically offer the same sermon and scripture readings each week.

Parking is available in the lot along Maple St., which you can enter from Maple St. or Lila Ave. There are several handicap spots near the front of the parking lot, close to our entrance.
There’s also street parking available around the building on Main, Maple and Beech streets.

Our 9 a.m. worship gathering is held in our multipurpose room, which we call the “Great Hall.” You can enter at the north end of our building. The Great Hall is immediately to the left after our Welcome Center gathering area.
Our 10:30 a.m. worship gathering is located in our church’s historic Sanctuary. If entering from our parking lot, turn right after the Welcome Center and make your way down the hall to the front of the building. You can also enter through our large red doors at the front of the building, which open into the Narthex gathering area just outside the Sanctuary. -
We wear what makes us most comfortable. You'll see people in everything from casual clothes to business attire.
-
Holy Communion is served during worship on the first Sunday of each month during both worship services. On Communion Sundays, families are encouraged to participate in the sacrament of Communion together. In the United Methodist tradition, we offer an open table where all are welcome to receive Communion.

Kids Church
A special experience is offered every Sunday (except on Communion Sundays) during worship for preK through sixth graders. This includes an age-appropriate message and activities that connect with the morning scriptures.Nursery Availability
Infants and children are always welcome in worship! However, we know that it might be easier for parents, grandparents, guardians and caregivers of young kids to have a safe, fun place just for kids during worship. Our nursery is available every Sunday morning during both services (depending on volunteer availability) for children six months old through first grade.

Every Sunday morning, our Welcome Center is filled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers. Stop by the coffee station to fuel up with a cup of coffee or tea before or after worship.
