Who Are We? We Are Milford First – the Light of Christ.

We are Milford First – Milford First United Methodist Church! That’s more than simply the name on the sign in front of our building. It’s a statement of our shared identity, and a statement of our shared commitment to being the Light of the World, serving our Risen Christ in our corner of God’s Kingdom.

We are Milford First is a video of many, many members of our church family, declaring who they are together. Milford First is a handful of silent saints, praying for others each morning. Milford First is people singing, sharing their gift of making music to help all of us worship God. Milford First is people with dirt under their fingernails, growing produce for hungry mouths in our community.

Milford First is a devoted team of care-givers and a grateful group of care-receivers. It’s dreamers and visionaries, planning and financiers. It’s people joining hands, sharing their energy to make a difference, bringing the life changing Light of God into the lives of neighbors and strangers in need. Milford First is a child, not yet a year old, and it’s an elder saint, soon to celebrate 99 years on this earth. We are Milford First is all these things and much, much more. It’s the pure expression of what it means to be the People of God’s Intention, the Body of Christ ~ the Light of the World!
